Michael Chabon is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author known for his rich storytelling and vivid imagination. Born in 1963 in Washington, D.C., Chabon grew up in Maryland, later attending the University of Pittsburgh and the University of California, Irvine for his MFA. His acclaimed works include "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay," which earned him the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2001, and "Wonder Boys," which was adapted into a successful film. Chabon's writing spans novels, short stories, and essays, often blending elements of adventure, fantasy, and intricately crafted characters. He resides in California with his wife, novelist Ayelet Waldman, and their children.
