Emma McLaughlin is a bestselling author best known for co-writing "The Nanny Diaries" with Nicola Kraus, which became an international sensation and was adapted into a popular film. Born and raised in Elmira, New York, McLaughlin attended New York University where she studied media studies and cultural criticism. Her career in writing began after working as a nanny herself, providing firsthand experience for her debut novel. Together with Kraus, she has co-authored several successful novels including "Citizen Girl" and "The Nanny Returns". McLaughlin's work often explores themes of social class and the complexities of modern working life.
