Thomas Savage

Thomas Savage was an American novelist, born on April 25, 1915, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Known for his evocative storytelling and exploration of complex family dynamics, Savage drew heavily from his experiences in the American West. One of his most acclaimed works, "The Power of the Dog," delves into themes of masculinity and isolation. Over his career, he wrote 13 novels, reflecting the rugged landscapes and intricate human emotions of the region.
