Larry Mitchell was an American writer, photographer, and radical queer activist whose work challenged heteronormative society. He is best known for his groundbreaking 1977 book "The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions," an illustrated fable that reimagined queer community and resistance through poetic, allegorical storytelling.
