Ivy Pochoda

Ivy Pochoda is a celebrated American novelist and former professional squash player known for her evocative, character-driven narratives. Raised in Brooklyn, she graduated from Harvard University and the Bennington Writing Seminars. Pochoda's acclaimed works include "Wonder Valley," which won the Strand Critics Award and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and "Visitation Street," a selected title for Dennis Lehane's literary imprint. Her most recent novel, "These Women," an L.A. noir thriller, continues her exploration of vibrant, diverse communities. In addition to writing, Ivy teaches creative writing and contributes essays to renowned literary journals and publications.
