Ivy Pochoda is a celebrated American novelist and former professional squash player known for her evocative, character-driven narratives. Raised in Brooklyn, she graduated from Harvard University and the Bennington Writing Seminars. Pochoda's acclaimed works include "Wonder Valley," which won the Strand Critics Award and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and "Visitation Street," a selected title for Dennis Lehane's literary imprint. Her most recent novel, "These Women," an L.A. noir thriller, continues her exploration of vibrant, diverse communities.
