Naomi Xu Elegant is a Chinese-American writer whose work explores themes of diaspora, identity, and intergenerational trauma. Her debut novel, "Ginkgo Season," weaves together the stories of three generations of women navigating the complexities of family, memory, and belonging across continents. Elegant's prose has been praised for its lyrical precision and emotional depth. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and her short fiction has appeared in various literary journals. Currently based in Brooklyn, she is working on her second novel while teaching creative writing workshops focused on amplifying immigrant narratives and underrepresented voices.
