Paul Sinton-Hewitt

Paul Sinton-Hewitt is a South African-born British social entrepreneur and the founder of parkrun, the global free weekly 5km running phenomenon that has transformed millions of lives worldwide. He is the author of "One Small Step", in which he shares the inspiring story of how a simple idea grew into one of the world's most beloved community movements. A passionate advocate for accessibility in sport and wellbeing, Sinton-Hewitt was awarded a CBE in 2014 for his services to grassroots sport. His work continues to champion inclusivity, community, and the belief that small actions can create extraordinary change.
