A.A. Milne was a renowned English author, born on January 18, 1882, in London. Best known for creating the beloved children's character Winnie-the-Pooh, Milne's works have charmed generations with their whimsical tales and gentle humor. He attended Westminster School and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he studied mathematics. Before finding success in children's literature, Milne was a prolific playwright and novelist. His experiences in World War I deeply influenced his writing. In addition to children's stories, Milne wrote numerous poems and plays, contributing to Punch magazine early in his career. Milne's timeless works continue to enchant readers worldwide. He passed away in 1956.
