Somaly Mam

Somaly Mam is a Cambodian author and human rights activist renowned for her tireless efforts in combating human trafficking and sexual slavery. Born into a life of hardship, she eventually escaped her captors and dedicated her life to helping others do the same. Her memoir, "The Road of Lost Innocence," chronicles her harrowing experiences and her journey toward empowerment and advocacy. Through the Somaly Mam Foundation, she worked to support and rehabilitate thousands of trafficking survivors across Southeast Asia.
