David Wohl

David Wohl is an American comic book writer best known for co-creating the supernatural superhero series Witchblade for Top Cow Productions. As one of the original architects of the Witchblade universe, Wohl helped establish the dark, mystical mythology surrounding the ancient sentient weapon. His work includes "Witchblade Origins, Volume 1" and "Witchblade Compendium Volume 2," which showcase his talent for blending horror, action, and complex female protagonists. Wohl's contributions to the Top Cow universe helped launch one of the most successful independent comic franchises of the 1990s, spawning adaptations in television, anime, and video games.
