William H. McRaven

William H. McRaven is a retired U.S. Navy Admiral, renowned for his distinguished military career and leadership in special operations. Born on November 6, 1955, McRaven graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and was commissioned as a Navy officer in 1977. He gained prominence for his role in organizing the Navy SEAL operation that led to the capture of Osama bin Laden in 2011. After retiring from the military, he served as Chancellor of the University of Texas System. McRaven is also a bestselling author, known for his inspiring book "Make Your Bed," which offers life lessons from his military experience.
