Jihyun Yun

Jihyun Yun is a Korean American poet whose work explores themes of diaspora, womanhood, and inherited trauma. She is the author of "Some Are Always Hungry" and "And the River Drags Her Down," collections that weave together personal and collective histories with lyrical intensity. Yun's poetry has appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies, earning her recognition for her precise, evocative voice. A recipient of several prestigious fellowships and awards, she brings a sharp and compassionate lens to the complexities of identity and memory. Yun holds an MFA in creative writing and continues to write and teach poetry.
