Xinran is a renowned Chinese-British author, journalist, and advocate for women’s issues, celebrated for her poignant storytelling and dedication to giving a voice to the women of China. Born in Beijing in 1958, Xinran spent years working as a journalist in China before moving to London in 1997. Her groundbreaking book, "The Good Women of China," draws from her radio show experiences, shedding light on the intimate lives of Chinese women. Xinran has since published several acclaimed works, including "Sky Burial" and "Buy Me the Sky." Her writing continues to bridge cultural divides, offering compelling insights into Chinese society.
