Maika Moulite

Maika Moulite is a Haitian-American author known for her powerful young adult novels that explore identity, social justice, and the Black experience. Alongside her twin sister Maritza, she co-authored "Dear Haiti, Love Alaine", a vibrant story celebrating Haitian culture through letters, emails, and texts. Their second collaboration, "One of the Good Ones", tackles police brutality and activism through a road trip that uncovers family secrets. Moulite's work authentically captures the voices of young Black women navigating complex issues of race, heritage, and belonging. She brings diverse perspectives to contemporary YA literature with wit, heart, and cultural authenticity.
