Amanda Leduc is a Canadian author and disability advocate whose writing explores the intersections of storytelling, identity, and the body. Her nonfiction work "Disfigured: On Fairy Tales, Disability, and Making Space" challenges the ableist tropes embedded in classic fairy tales, reimagining what these stories could look like for disabled readers. Her novel "Wild Life" continues her exploration of bodies, wilderness, and belonging. Leduc has cerebral palsy and is a passionate voice in the disability community. She serves as the Communications Coordinator for the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD) in Barrie, Ontario, championing diverse and underrepresented voices in Canadian literature.
