Nikesha Elise Williams

Nikesha Elise Williams is an award-winning American author and Emmy Award-winning news producer based in Jacksonville, Florida. She is best known for her debut novel "Four Women," which won the 2018 Florida Book Award for African American Literature. Her novel "The Seven Daughters of Dupree" continues her tradition of crafting rich, character-driven stories rooted in the African American experience. Williams is a passionate advocate for diverse voices in literature and uses her platform to amplify underrepresented narratives. A graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, she seamlessly blends her storytelling expertise across both broadcast media and literary fiction.
