Peter Bently

Peter Bently is an acclaimed British children's author known for his witty, imaginative storytelling and charming rhymes. Born in 1960 in Tidworth, Hampshire, Peter grew up with a love for literature, eventually settling in Devon. He studied History at Balliol College, Oxford, before pursuing a career in writing. Peter has penned numerous beloved picture books, including "The Great Dog Bottom Swap" and "Meet the Parents," both of which showcase his playful sense of humor. His book "The King’s Birthday Suit" won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2011. Peter continues to enchant young readers with his delightful tales.
