Dee MacDonald is a British author known for her warm, humorous fiction featuring older women embarking on new adventures. Her popular Getaway Girls series, beginning with "The Getaway Girls", follows a group of friends discovering freedom and friendship later in life. MacDonald also writes cozy mysteries, including "Murder at the Loch", which combines her love of Scotland with engaging whodunits. Before turning to writing full-time, she worked as a nurse and lived in various countries. Now settled in Cornwall, she draws inspiration from her travels and life experiences to create relatable, spirited characters who prove it's never too late for adventure.
