Luke Kennard

Luke Kennard is a British poet, novelist, and academic whose work blends dark humour, surrealism, and sharp wit. He is the author of several poetry collections, including "The Solex Brothers", "Kennard Writes a Novel", and "Notes on the Sonnets", a reimagining of Shakespeare's sonnets. His debut novel, "The Transition", is a satirical thriller exploring modern anxieties around debt, domesticity, and self-improvement. Kennard is a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham and has received numerous accolades, including the Forward Prize for Best Collection.
