Sara Baume

Sara Baume is an acclaimed Irish author known for her evocative and lyrical prose. She made her debut with the novel "Spill Simmer Falter Wither" in 2015, which received widespread praise for its poignant storytelling and was longlisted for the Desmond Elliott Prize. Born in 1984, Baume grew up in County Cork and later studied at Trinity College Dublin. Her work often explores themes of isolation, nature, and the human condition, as seen in her subsequent novels "A Line Made by Walking" and "Seven Steeples." In addition to her novels, Baume is also an accomplished visual artist and essayist.
