Roisín O'Donnell

Roisín O'Donnell is an Irish author and short story writer known for her vivid, lyrical prose and her exploration of themes including migration, identity, and belonging. Her debut short story collection, "Wild Quiet", was published in 2016 to widespread critical acclaim, winning the European Union Prize for Literature. Her novel "Nesting" showcases her ability to weave intimate human stories against rich cultural backdrops. O'Donnell has been widely published in literary journals and anthologies across Ireland and beyond. She is also an educator, bringing the same passion for storytelling to her teaching. She lives and works in Dublin, Ireland.
