Born in the town of Bsharri in Lebanon, Gibran emigrated to the United States with his family in 1895. His most celebrated work, "The Prophet," published in 1923, is a profound collection of poetic essays on topics such as love, freedom, and spirituality, which continues to resonate worldwide. Gibran's writings, often blending Eastern and Western philosophies, have inspired countless readers with their wisdom and beauty. Besides writing, Gibran was also a talented painter and sculptor.
