C.S. Lewis was a British writer, scholar, and Christian apologist, best known for his beloved Chronicles of Narnia series, including "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". Born in Belfast in 1898, Lewis taught at Oxford and Cambridge universities, where he specialized in medieval and Renaissance literature. A prolific author, he wrote works spanning children's fantasy, science fiction, theology, and literary criticism. His conversion from atheism to Christianity profoundly influenced his writing, blending imagination with spiritual themes. Lewis's timeless storytelling continues to captivate readers worldwide. He died in 1963, leaving an enduring literary legacy.
