Samantha Power

Samantha Power is an accomplished diplomat, author, and academic known for her extensive work in international affairs and human rights. Born in Ireland, she immigrated to the United States where she became a prominent voice on global issues. Power served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations from 2013 to 2017 under President Barack Obama. She is also a Pulitzer Prize-winning author for her book "A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide," which delves into America's response to global genocides. Power currently serves as the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
