Michael Koresky is a film critic, editor, and author whose work explores the intersection of cinema, memory, and identity. He is a co-founder and editor of the online film magazine Reverse Shot and a contributing editor at Film Comment. His debut book, "Films of Endearment," examined queer perspectives on classic Hollywood cinema. "Sick and Dirty" is his deeply personal memoir that interweaves his mother's battle with cancer with reflections on his relationship to classic films from the 1970s. Koresky's writing has appeared in various publications, and he regularly teaches and lectures on film criticism and culture.
