Suzanne Walker

Suzanne Walker is an American author and editor who writes graphic novels and comics. She is best known for *Mooncakes* (2019), a young adult graphic novel illustrated by Wendy Xu that blends fantasy, romance, and adventure. The story follows a young witch and a werewolf who reunite to battle dark forces, centering queer representation and Asian-American identity. Walker's writing features themes of found family, magic, and LGBTQ+ relationships. *Mooncakes* received widespread acclaim for its heartfelt storytelling and inclusive representation, becoming a beloved title in contemporary queer YA literature. Walker continues to work in comics and has collaborated with Xu on the sequel *Stargazing* (2023).
