Minsoo Kang

Minsoo Kang is a Korean American historian, fiction writer, and translator whose work spans the boundaries of scholarship and imaginative literature. He is the author of "The Melancholy of Untold History", a collection that weaves together forgotten voices and overlooked moments from the past with lyrical precision. Kang also wrote "Sublime Dreams of Living Machines" and "Of Tales and Enigmas", and co-translated "The Story of Hong Gildong". A professor of European history at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, he brings a rare interdisciplinary curiosity to everything he writes, illuminating the margins of history with wit, empathy, and elegance.
