Kanehito Yamada is a Japanese manga writer best known for creating "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" (Sōsō no Frieren) alongside illustrator Tsukasa Abe. The series, which began serialization in 2020, explores themes of mortality, memory, and the passage of time through the journey of an elf mage reflecting on her adventures after her companions' deaths.
