GennaRose Nethercott is an American author and poet whose work weaves together folklore, myth, and the uncanny. She is the author of the novel "Thistlefoot," a darkly enchanting tale rooted in Eastern European Jewish tradition, centered on a sentient, chicken-legged house drawn from the Baba Yaga legend. Nethercott is also the author of the poetry collection "The Lumberjack's Dove," selected by Louise Glück for the National Poetry Series. A touring artist and storyteller, she travels with a portable letter-press, creating broadsides and poems on the road. Her writing pulses with magic, memory, and the weight of inherited history.
