Allie Rowbottom

Allie Rowbottom is an American author and academic whose work explores femininity, identity, and the pressures of digital culture. She is the author of the memoir "JELL-O Girls," a deeply personal account weaving together family history, illness, and the legacy of the Jell-O brand, and the novel "Aesthetica," a razor-sharp exploration of beauty, aging, and social media obsession. Rowbottom holds a PhD in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Houston and teaches creative writing at the college level.
