Steven Erikson

Steven Erikson is a renowned Canadian author and archaeologist, best known for his epic fantasy series, "The Malazan Book of the Fallen." Born in 1959 in Toronto, he pursued a degree in archaeology and anthropology from the University of Victoria, later earning a Master’s in Fine Arts from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Erikson's literary works are celebrated for their intricate plots, complex characters, and rich world-building. The first book in his acclaimed series, "Gardens of the Moon," was released in 1999, garnering a dedicated fan base.
