Melissa Fu

Melissa Fu is a British-American author whose debut novel "Peach Blossom Spring" garnered international acclaim for its sweeping multigenerational saga spanning China, Taiwan, and the United States. Born in New Mexico and raised in Colorado, Fu holds degrees in physics and education, and has taught in schools across several countries. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco. Her work explores themes of displacement, identity, and the enduring bonds of family across cultures and time. Fu currently lives in Cambridge, England, where she continues to write and teach.
