Joanna Ho is an award-winning author and educational leader dedicated to celebrating diversity and empowering young readers. Her acclaimed debut picture book, "Eyes That Kiss in the Corners," won numerous honors including the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature and has been translated into multiple languages. She is also the author of "Playing at the Border," "The Silence That Binds Us," and "The Day the Books Disappeared." A former teacher and principal, Ho advocates for equity in education and representation in children's literature. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family.
