Frank Cottrell Boyce

Frank Cottrell Boyce is an acclaimed British author and screenwriter, celebrated for his engaging children’s books and memorable films. Born in 1959, he studied English at Keble College, Oxford. Boyce began his career in television, writing for popular British shows before transitioning to film with his debut screenplay for "Welcome to Sarajevo." He gained prominence as a novelist with "Millions," which later became a film directed by Danny Boyle. Known for his collaboration with director Michael Winterbottom, Boyce co-scripted films such as "24 Hour Party People" and "The Claim." Additionally, he contributed to the spectacle of the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.
