Ann Dávila Cardinal

Ann Dávila Cardinal is a Puerto Rican American author known for her vivid, culturally rich storytelling that blends horror, folklore, and identity. Born and raised with deep ties to Puerto Rico, she draws on the island's mythology and landscape to craft compelling narratives. She is the author of several works, including "Five Midnights" and "Category Five," and her latest, "You've Awoken Her," continues her tradition of weaving Caribbean legend with contemporary terror. Cardinal also serves as a director at Champlain College's low-residency MFA program. Her writing celebrates Latinx voices and cultures while delivering spine-tingling stories that resonate with readers of all backgrounds.
