Nekokurage

Nekokurage is a Japanese illustrator best known for adapting Natsu Hyuuga's light novel series into the manga version of "The Apothecary Diaries" (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto). Working alongside Hyuuga and character designer Touko Shino, Nekokurage brings the story of Maomao, a sharp-witted apothecary navigating palace intrigue in an ancient imperial court, to vivid life through detailed artwork and expressive character designs. The manga adaptation has garnered international acclaim for its compelling visual storytelling, complementing the original novels' blend of mystery, historical drama, and engaging character dynamics.
