Erika T. Wurth

Erika T. Wurth is an Apache/Chickasaw/Cherokee writer whose work explores Indigenous identity, urban Native life, and the supernatural. She is the author of several acclaimed novels, including "White Horse," "You Who Enter Here," and "Crazy Horse's Girlfriend." Her latest work, "The Haunting of Room 904," continues her signature blend of horror and Indigenous storytelling. Wurth's writing has appeared in numerous publications, and she has received fellowships from the NEA and Yaddo. A professor of creative writing at Western Illinois University, she lives in Denver, Colorado, where she remains deeply connected to Indigenous communities and contemporary Native experiences.
