Sameer Pandya

Sameer Pandya is an Indian-American writer and professor whose fiction explores race, identity, and belonging in contemporary America. His debut novel, "Members Only," was published in 2020 to critical acclaim, examining questions of privilege and prejudice through the story of an Indian-American professor at a California country club. His second novel, "The Beautiful Boys," further investigates themes of masculinity, fatherhood, and cultural identity. Pandya's work has appeared in publications including The Atlantic, Salon, and the San Francisco Chronicle. He teaches creative writing and literature at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he lives with his family.
