Imbolo Mbue is a critically acclaimed novelist and storyteller from Cameroon. Her debut novel, "Behold the Dreamers," won the 2017 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction and was an Oprah's Book Club selection. Mbue's vivid writing captures the immigrant experience and the pursuit of the American Dream, drawing from her own journey from Cameroon to the United States. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree from Columbia University. Through her poignant narratives, Mbue explores themes of family, ambition, and resilience, making her a powerful voice in contemporary literature. She currently resides in New York City.
