Tim Powers

Tim Powers is an acclaimed American author known for his unique blend of historical events and speculative fiction, often classified as secret history or science fiction. Born in 1952 in Buffalo, New York, Powers grew up in California and graduated from California State University, Fullerton, where he befriended fellow writers James Blaylock and Philip K. Dick. His works are celebrated for intricate plotting, rich characters, and imaginative worlds. Notable books include "The Anubis Gates," "Declare," and "Last Call." Powers is a two-time winner of the prestigious Philip K. Dick Award. He lives with his wife Serena in Southern California.
