Robertson Davies

Robertson Davies (1913–1995) was a distinguished Canadian novelist, playwright, professor, and journalist known for his rich storytelling and exploration of Canadian identity. Born in Thamesville, Ontario, Davies was educated at Queen's University and Balliol College, Oxford. His literary career flourished with the publication of the Deptford Trilogy, comprising "Fifth Business," "The Manticore," and "World of Wonders," which showcase his mastery of character development and psychological insight.
