George S. Clason was a pioneering author and businessman, best known for his classic work, "The Richest Man in Babylon." Born in 1874 in Louisiana, Missouri, Clason served in the United States Army during the Spanish-American War. After his military service, he founded the Clason Map Company and published pamphlets on financial success. In 1926, these pamphlets were compiled into "The Richest Man in Babylon," which remains a timeless guide on wealth building. Through parables set in ancient Babylon, Clason imparted principles of financial prudence and personal savings, influencing generations. He passed away in 1957, leaving a lasting legacy in personal finance literature.
