David Lipsky

David Lipsky is an American author, journalist, and contributing editor at Rolling Stone, celebrated for his sharp, intimate portraits of cultural figures. He is best known for "Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself," a road-trip conversation with David Foster Wallace conducted during the final leg of the Infinite Jest book tour in 1996. The book, published in 2010, formed the basis of the acclaimed film The End of the Tour. Lipsky also writes fiction and has contributed to numerous major publications, earning a reputation as one of America's most perceptive and compelling literary journalists.
