Benjamin Hoff is an American author best known for his work "The Tao of Pooh," which creatively introduces Taoist philosophy through the lens of A.A. Milne's beloved characters. Born in Portland, Oregon, Hoff developed an early fascination with Eastern thought, nature, and literature. As a graduate of Evergreen State College, his unique interdisciplinary approach is reflected in his writing. In addition to "The Tao of Pooh," its companion book, "The Te of Piglet," further explores Taoism's wisdom.
