Edmund Morris

Edmund Morris was a distinguished author and biographer, best known for his biographies of U.S. presidents, most notably "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt," which won the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. Born in Kenya in 1940, Morris moved to the United States in the 1960s, where he honed his craft as a writer. His detailed research and narrative style brought historical figures to life, earning critical acclaim. In addition to his work on Roosevelt, Morris wrote an authorized biography of Ronald Reagan, "Dutch: A Memoir of Ronald Reagan," showcasing his unique approach to biographical writing. He passed away in 2019.
