Sophie Hayes

Sophie Hayes is a British author and human rights advocate who survived sex trafficking and transformed her traumatic experience into a powerful force for change. Her memoir, "Trafficked," recounts her harrowing journey after being lured to Italy by someone she trusted, where she was forced into prostitution for six months. After escaping and rebuilding her life, Hayes founded the Sophie Hayes Foundation (now Ella's) to support survivors of modern slavery. Through her writing and advocacy work, she raises awareness about human trafficking and provides hope to others who have endured similar ordeals.
