Anuradha Roy is an acclaimed Indian author known for her evocative and lyrical prose. Born in Kolkata, she has a background in English literature and publishing. Roy's novels, including "An Atlas of Impossible Longing," "The Folded Earth," and "Sleeping on Jupiter," explore themes of love, loss, and the complexities of human relationships against the backdrop of India's rich cultural tapestry. Her work has earned international recognition, winning accolades such as the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature. Beyond writing, Roy is also a publisher and designer, co-founding the independent publishing house Permanent Black.
