Seán Hewitt is an acclaimed Irish poet and writer, renowned for his lyricism and evocative imagery. Born in 1990, he grew up in Cheshire and studied at the University of Cambridge and the University of Liverpool. Hewitt's debut poetry collection, "Tongues of Fire" (2020), received widespread praise, earning him the Laurel Prize and a shortlisting for the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award. His works often explore themes of nature, identity, and memory. In addition to poetry, Hewitt is a literary critic with contributions to The Irish Times. He is also a lecturer in English literature at Trinity College Dublin.
