Danusha Laméris is an American poet and author of the celebrated collection "Bonfire Opera," which won the Northern California Book Award. Her work explores themes of wonder, connection, and the ordinary moments that illuminate human experience. Laméris is also the author of "The Moons of August" and has received numerous honors, including a Pushcart Prize and fellowships from the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference.
