Kelly Keaton is an American author who writes young adult paranormal fiction and urban fantasy. She is best known for her Gods & Monsters trilogy, which begins with *Darkness Becomes Her* (2011), set in a post-apocalyptic New Orleans inhabited by mythological creatures and Greek gods. The series follows Ari, a teenager who discovers her connection to Medusa while navigating a dangerous supernatural world. Keaton's writing features strong female protagonists, Greek mythology reimagined in contemporary settings, and themes of identity and self-acceptance.
